About Me!

Hello Everyone!!! I'm so happy you stopped by to get to know me a little bit more! I've been teaching for a long time now...20years!!! I earned my Bachelor's Degree in speech pathology at Stephen F. Austin and went back to school to earn my Master's Degree in Education from Texas State University. I've been teaching 4th grade ever since! I absolutely love 4th grade, and I know that you will too! I've been married to my hubby Matt for 24 years now, and we have twin boys, Rhett and Leyton, who are 16! They are going to be juniors at Deer Park High School South this year! Lord help me with 2 driving teenagers in the house! :) Rhett LOVES to fish and hunt while Leyton loves to workout and runs track for DP. We also have 3 dogs. Benelli (the GOOD dog), Duke (the BAD boy of the family), and Lucky (wild and crazy hot mess express), who are all very lovable!
