About Me

Hello and welcome to music! I'm so excited to work with your students this year to make some beautiful music! My goal is to provide as many opportunities for your students to explore music as possible. I want them to try new things and find new passions and talents. I'm so excited to grow and learn with your students!

I'm in the House of Responsibility! I'm excited to share some house and school pride with your kiddos!

I graduated from Baylor University in May 2018 with a degree in Music Education. I was involved in all kinds of music there. Including: A Cappella Choir, Bella Voce Choir, and VirtuOSO. It was one of the best experiences of my life!

I'm originally from Springfield, Oregon and that's where my love of music started. I did musical theater, choral music, and A Cappella music in high school. My family still lives there and I love to visit as much as I can!

Some of my favorite things: I love the outdoors! I love to hike and paddle board, especially with my favorite pup. I also love to bake. Cheesecake is my specialty! I love my family and miss them all the time. My dog, Griffin, is 4 years old and the sweetest thing! I also love to travel. Recently I went to Spain, Italy, and France with my mom and a group of her students (she teaches art at a middle school in Oregon). I like to craft and sew. I got a cricut recently and use it for everything. My mom and I also like to quilt together. I love chocolate and Chickfila or Canes. If your student has had me before they probably know about my "survival chocolate" drawer. Music for all is my passion! I've always wanted to be a teacher and am so happy to fulfill my dream at DPE!
