About Me!

     Hey there! My name is Abigail Jentzen. I am a dog mom to two adorable puppies. My oldest is a Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie mix), and she is six years old. My second is two years old. Her name is Eva, and she is an energetic German Shepherd. My husband, Ty, and I are both Sam Houston State University Alumni. Go Bearkats! We love to hike, bike, and take our dogs on walks around the neighborhood.

     I have worked with children my entire life, and I love it! I believe it is very special to inspire and educate young minds. Everyone has the capability to do great things, and it excites me to think of all the wonderful things each of my students will accomplish throughout their 4th grade year and further into their adult lives. 

     I am so happy to be teaching 4th grade at Deer Park Elementary. DPISD is a fantastic district to be in! I am looking forward to all the new opportunities this school year has to offer. Let's learn together!
