Hi Eagles! I am so excited to teach 5th grade Science and Social Studies. We will work hard, learn a ton, and have fun along the way.
A little about me- This is my 15th year teaching Science, and 9th year in DPISD (previously at DPJH). I earned my BSN from University of Houston (Go Coogs!) in 2008, and graduated with my masters in Education from Lamar University in 2021. Education and building relationships with the future leaders in my classroom is a passion of mine. I am married with 3 kiddos, ages 20, 10, & 5; and my youngest two both attend DPE! As a mom of DPE students, I am a true believer in the positive climate and culture that impacts these children on a daily basis at our school.
